I must be really stressed.
The good news is I work better under stress. Can't wait to get those two business chinese vocab midterms out of my way today. Then my advanced managerial accounting final, and then my chinese comprehension midterm. I love learning, I hope I never let the busyness of life let me forget that :)
Can't wait to see baby Sofia tonight, seeing her is always the highlight of my day. Now I have some insight as to how parents do it - How they work in the day yet still have energy to be home with their kids at night and still be 100% at the end of that long tiring day (all I wanted to do at the end of my work day during internships was sleep!).
My mother is amazing. To do what she did for J and I. And if you know my mother, she sees the positive in every situation. She's energetic, fun, driven, god-fearing and inspiring. All my friends who meet her LOVE her, and tell me she's cooler than me (there's no denying that). She is an amazing role model to me, and I hope someday I'll be half the mother and career woman she is.
Above all, I just want everyone I love to be happy. Can I just say how thankful and grateful I am for eternal families? The gospel brings such happiness. The knowledge that the joy and suffering we endure in this life is so miniscule in respect to the rest of our lives. Really puts things into perspective.
Happiness is a journey and not a destination. Never lose sight of that. Cherish every moment by living in the present.
